◆ Player Safety First

Responsible Gambling at AonCash

Gambling is a form of entertainment. AonCash is committed to ensuring it stays that way — by giving every Malaysian player the information, tools, and support they need to play safely and within their means.

21+
For players aged 21 and above only.
AonCash strictly enforces the minimum age requirement. If you are under 21 years of age, you are not permitted to register or place any wager on this platform.

Gambling Should Always Be Fun

AonCash takes responsible gambling seriously — not as a regulatory checkbox, but as a genuine obligation to the Malaysian players who trust us with their entertainment. We believe that gambling, approached with the right mindset and clear boundaries, is a perfectly legitimate recreational activity for adults. Our role is to help you maintain that balance.

The vast majority of players on AonCash enjoy their sessions without issue — they deposit within their budget, play their favourite slots or live tables, follow the Liga Super Malaysia or EPL betting markets, and log off. No drama. For these players, our responsible gambling tools provide reassurance and structure.

But we also know that for a small proportion of players, gambling can become a problem. When enjoyment tips into compulsion — when chasing losses replaces the fun of playing — the consequences for individuals and their families can be serious. AonCash is committed to detecting early signs, providing proactive tools, and directing affected players to the right support, including resources relevant to Malaysian players.

This page covers everything you need to know: our 21+ policy, the responsible gambling tools built into every AonCash account, how to spot the warning signs of problem gambling, and where to turn for help.

Responsible Gambling Is Not OptionalEvery AonCash account comes with responsible gambling tools activated by default. Deposit limits, session tracking, and self-exclusion are not buried in settings — they are prominently accessible to every registered player at all times.

Gambling Is Not a Way to Make MoneyEvery casino game and sports bet involves risk. The house has a mathematical edge over time. Gambling should be funded only from money you can afford to lose — never from savings, borrowed funds, or money earmarked for bills, rent, or family needs.

Responsible Gambling Tools Available to Every Player

All of the following tools are built directly into your AonCash account and accessible through your Account Settings panel at any time. There is no charge to use them and no waiting period to activate limits. We encourage every player to configure these settings from the moment they register.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, per week, or per month. Once your chosen limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limits take effect immediately when reduced. Increases require a 24-hour cooling period before activation — a deliberate design choice to prevent impulsive limit removal during a session.

Session Time Limits

Define the maximum continuous duration of any single gaming session. When your session limit is reached, you are automatically logged out and shown a summary of your session activity including time spent and net position. You may set daily session caps to prevent long uninterrupted play periods.

Reality Checks

Configure periodic pop-up reminders during active sessions showing you how long you've been playing and your net win/loss position. Appearing every 30, 60, or 90 minutes depending on your preference, reality checks prompt a conscious moment of assessment — and the option to end your session there and then.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a structured break from AonCash without permanently closing your account. Choose a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During this time, you cannot log in, deposit, or place any bets. Your account, balance, and history are preserved. Marketing communications are also paused during cooling-off periods.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently or semi-permanently exclude your account from all gaming and betting activity on AonCash. Self-exclusion options include 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent closure. Once activated, self-exclusion cannot be reversed for the duration chosen. Any balance held at the time of exclusion is returned to your verified payment method after a processing review.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum net loss threshold per day, week, or month. When your accumulated losses reach the configured limit, further wagering is blocked for the remainder of the period. Loss limits help prevent the common problem of chasing losses — one of the most damaging patterns in problem gambling behaviour.

How Deposit Limits Work

Deposit limits are one of the most effective tools for managing how much you spend on gambling over time. On AonCash, you can set these limits independently for daily, weekly, and monthly periods. They apply across all payment methods — whether you're depositing via Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, FPX, or any of our other supported Malaysian payment channels.

The key feature that makes deposit limits genuinely useful — rather than cosmetic — is the asymmetry in how changes are processed. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. If you're in the middle of a session and want to lower your daily cap from RM500 to RM200, it happens right away. Increasing a limit requires a 24-hour waiting period before it takes effect. This cooling period is intentional. It prevents in-session impulsive decisions from undoing limits you set when you were thinking clearly.

Deposit limits do not reset mid-period if you change them. If you set a weekly deposit limit of RM1,000 on Monday and change it to RM800 on Thursday, your remaining allowance for that week adjusts accordingly.

Daily Limit Maximum total deposit in any 24-hour rolling period. Resets at midnight MYT.
Weekly Limit Maximum total deposit from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 MYT.
Monthly Limit Maximum total deposit within the current calendar month. Resets on the 1st of each month.
Limit Decrease Takes effect immediately. No waiting period. Can be done mid-session.
Limit Increase Takes effect after a mandatory 24-hour cooling period to prevent impulsive decisions.
Currency All limits are set and enforced in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). No conversion applies.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself clearly. It tends to develop gradually, often disguised as bad luck, a run of losses that's about to turn, or stress-relief that got a little out of hand. Many people don't recognise they have a problem until it has already caused significant harm to their finances, relationships, or wellbeing.

The signs below are not a diagnosis. They are prompts for honest reflection. If you recognise several of them in your own behaviour — or in someone you care about — it's worth taking that seriously and reading through the support resources further down this page.

Problem gambling affects people across all demographics, incomes, and cities. It is as relevant to a player in Kuala Lumpur as it is to one in Johor Bahru. It does not discriminate by game type — it can develop through slot machines, live tables, or sports betting on EPL or UFC events.

  • You spend more time or money gambling than you planned, and find it difficult to stop when you said you would.
  • You return to gambling shortly after a loss, driven by a need to "win back" what you lost — commonly known as chasing losses.
  • You have borrowed money, sold possessions, or used funds earmarked for essential expenses (rent, bills, groceries) to fund gambling.
  • You have lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money you spend gambling.
  • You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop gambling.
  • Gambling has started to interfere with your work, study, family responsibilities, or other commitments you value.
  • You use gambling as a primary way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, boredom, or difficult life events.
  • You need to gamble with increasingly larger amounts to feel the same level of excitement or engagement.
  • You have made repeated unsuccessful attempts to control, reduce, or stop gambling on your own.
  • Thoughts about gambling — planning the next session, reliving past wins, calculating strategies — occupy a significant portion of your mental energy.

If you recognise three or more of the above signs in yourself, we strongly encourage you to use AonCash's self-exclusion tool and seek support from a professional resource. Acting early makes a meaningful difference. Please read the Support Resources section below.

A Quick Honest Check-In

The following questions are adapted from internationally recognised problem gambling screening tools. Answer them honestly — no one sees your answers but you. The purpose is to prompt genuine self-reflection about your relationship with gambling.

Think about your gambling over the past 12 months and answer each question honestly.

Q1 Have you bet more than you could comfortably afford to lose?
Q2 Have you needed to gamble with larger amounts of money to get the same level of excitement?
Q3 When you lost money gambling, did you go back another day to try to win it back?
Q4 Have you borrowed money or sold anything to fund gambling?
Q5 Have you felt that you might have a problem with gambling, even briefly?
Q6 Has gambling ever caused problems in your relationships, work, finances, or health?
Q7 Have you ever hidden gambling activity from people close to you?
Q8 Do you gamble to escape worries, stress, or to deal with difficult feelings?
If you answered "Yes" to two or more questions, it may indicate that gambling is having a negative impact on your life. This is not a clinical assessment, but we encourage you to speak with a professional support service. You can also activate AonCash's self-exclusion or cooling-off tools immediately from your account settings. Support resources are listed in the section below.

How to Exclude Yourself from AonCash

Self-exclusion is the most direct step a player can take when they feel that gambling has stopped being entertainment and started becoming a problem. At AonCash, self-exclusion is accessible to any registered player at any time — it does not require justification, a waiting period, or approval from our team.

How to initiate self-exclusion: Log in to your AonCash account, navigate to Account Settings, select the Responsible Gambling section, and choose Self-Exclusion. Select your preferred exclusion duration — 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent. The exclusion takes effect within 24 hours of submission. Alternatively, contact our support team directly at [email protected] and request immediate self-exclusion; the team will action this within the same business day.

What happens during self-exclusion: You cannot log in to your account. All pending bets or bonus activity is resolved and your real-money balance is returned to your verified payment method. All marketing communications from AonCash are suspended. Any attempt to create a new account during your exclusion period will result in that account being permanently closed.

Can self-exclusion be reversed? For periods of 6 months, 1 year, and 3 years, reinstatement requests can only be submitted after the full exclusion period has elapsed, and are subject to a mandatory 7-day cooling period before reactivation. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed under any circumstances.

Self-Exclusion Duration Options
  • 6 Months
Suitable for players who want a medium-term break. Reinstatement possible after 6 months have elapsed plus 7-day cooling period.
  • 1 Year
A full year away from the platform. Recommended for players who have identified genuine problem gambling behaviours.
  • 3 Years
Extended exclusion for players seeking long-term separation from gambling. Reinstatement only after full period plus review.
  • Permanent
Irreversible account closure. Recommended for players who have decided gambling is not right for them. Cannot be undone.

AonCash uses the information from self-exclusion requests to prevent the excluded player from opening new accounts. Our systems cross-reference registration details during sign-up to enforce exclusion decisions. If you believe you have successfully registered a new account during an active exclusion period, contact us immediately so we can action the closure.

Protecting Young People from Gambling

AonCash enforces a strict minimum age of 21 years for all registered players. This is non-negotiable and applies universally — regardless of the game type, deposit method, or promotional offer. Age verification is a mandatory step in the account registration and KYC process.

Accounts found to belong to persons under 21 years of age are closed immediately. Any winnings are forfeited. Deposited funds are returned to the payment method after a fraud review. The individual may also be referred to relevant authorities where legally required.

If you share a device or household with young people, we strongly recommend the following protective measures to prevent minors from accessing gambling platforms.

  • Set a strong, unique password for your AonCash account and never share it with household members, including teenagers.
  • Lock your device with a PIN, fingerprint, or face recognition to prevent unauthorised access to saved sessions or browser autofill data.
  • Install parental control software on shared devices and home Wi-Fi networks to restrict access to gambling websites for underage household members.
  • Do not save your AonCash login credentials in browser auto-complete settings on shared computers or family tablets.
  • Have open, honest conversations with young people in your household about gambling, the risks involved, and the 21+ age requirement.
  • Enable session notification emails on your AonCash account so you are alerted to any login activity you did not initiate.

If you suspect a minor has accessed a gambling account on any platform — including AonCash — report it to us immediately at [email protected]. We take this extremely seriously and will act on all reports without delay.
